Selling an FC house

Selling an FC house means passing leadership of the FC that owns it to the buyer. Write a listing, agree on the price and terms, and plan for the buyer to wait 30 days.

Write a useful listing

Include the World, district, ward, plot, size, price, submarines, and payment terms. FC rank and company credits may matter to buyers too. You can also mention whether the workshop is unlocked and whether the FC name can be changed.

A common split is 50%/50%: half upfront as a deposit, then the remaining half after 30 days, directly before leadership transfer. State your terms in the listing.

Post your listing in one of the housing-market Discords on our Resources page.

World: [World]
Estate: [District], Ward [#], Plot [#], [size]
Price: [gil amount / taking offers]
Terms: [deposit % upfront, remainder before leadership transfer after 30 days]
Submarines: [levels and builds / none]
FC rank / company credits: [where relevant]

Set a price

Compare similar listings on your World and ask in the housing communities you use. District, size, plot location, and submarines all affect what buyers will pay.

Keep asking prices separate from completed sale prices when comparing deals.

Deposit and cancellation

Once you agree on the price and terms, the buyer can paste our agreement template into in-game chat for you to confirm.

The deposit amount is negotiated. Deposits are usually nonrefundable if the buyer cancels. If you cancel or cannot complete the sale, you should refund everything the buyer has paid.

Wait and handover

  1. Invite the buyer. Invite the character who will receive leadership.
  2. Collect the deposit. Have the buyer pay the agreed amount and confirm receipt in chat. See payment methods for the options.
  3. Wait 30 days. Use a Discord timestamp generator such as HammerTime for the handover date, and pin the timestamp in your DMs.
  4. Complete payment and handover. Collect the remaining gil, then transfer leadership. Agree which existing members will stay or leave.

Keep the agreement, confirmations, and payment records. They can support a report to Square Enix, but they do not guarantee GM intervention or reimbursement.
