Buying an FC house
Buying an FC house means taking over leadership of the FC that owns it. You join, pay the deposit, wait 30 days, then finish the payment and leadership transfer.
Six steps to the handover
- Find a listing. Start in one of the housing-market Discords on our Resources page, or post a buying request. Compare the World, district, size, plot location, price, and submarines. FC rank and company credits may matter to you too.
- Agree on the deal. Settle the price and terms. Use our agreement template to record the deal in in-game chat and have both sides confirm it.
- Join the FC. Accept the seller’s invite on the character who will receive leadership.
- Pay the deposit. Pay the amount you agreed on and confirm receipt in chat. See payment methods for the options.
- Wait 30 days. Use a Discord timestamp generator such as HammerTime for the handover date, and pin the timestamp in your DMs.
- Complete payment and handover. Pay the remaining gil and have the seller transfer leadership. Agree which existing members will stay or leave.
Deposits and cancellation
Deposits are usually nonrefundable if you cancel. If the seller cancels or cannot complete the sale, they should refund everything you have paid.
Keep the records
Keep the agreement, confirmations, and payment records. They can support a report to Square Enix, but they do not guarantee GM intervention or reimbursement.
